At Fulwood & Cadley Primary School, we are committed to ensuring our children stay safe both in school and online. As digital technology becomes a greater part of our children's daily lives, it's essential that parents and carers are informed, confident, and proactive in helping children navigate the online world safely.
Why Online Safety Matters:
Children are using the internet at younger ages and for longer periods.
Online platforms can present risks such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and online predators.
Developing digital resilience is just as important as academic learning.
Supporting Our Families:
To help parents stay up to date with the latest guidance, trends, and tools for keeping children safe online, we have partnered with Knowsley City Learning Centre (CLC). As part of this collaboration, we will be sharing monthly online safety newsletters, full of practical advice, updates on popular apps and games, and tips for managing screen time and privacy settings at home.
We encourage all parents to take a few minutes each month to read these updates—they’re a valuable tool to help keep your child safe, confident, and responsible in their digital life.
