To keep all our pupils safe, especially those with severe allergies, our school is a nut-free environment.
Please do not send any food containing nuts in lunchboxes or snacks.
This includes items like peanut butter, Nutella, and cereal bars with nuts.
At lunchtime, your child can choose from:
A school meal (free to all children in Reception & KS1 or £2 for KS2 children)
A home-packed lunch
Meals follow a 4-week menu. School diners can be booked in advance (by 11:59pm the night before) via your child's ParentPay account or on the day by your child at registration.
Includes a vegetarian option, jacket potatoes and a salad bar.
Choice of two puddings, with milk and water available
Healthy choices only – no sweets, chocolate, fizzy drinks, glass bottles or cans.
Drinks must be in leak-proof, unbreakable bottles.
Keep lunch bags slim to help with storage.

If you'd like your child to have toast in the morning, please order through ParentPay each half term.
Milk is available for Reception & KS1 children through Cool Milk. To register, visit: www.coolmilk.com
Each child in Reception & KS1 gets a free piece of fruit every day.
Children in KS2 are encouraged to bring a healthy snack of fruit or a cereal bar for breaktime. No chocolate/crisps or similar please.
Your child should bring a water bottle every day.
Only water is allowed — no juice or flavoured drinks.
Fresh water is also available in class.
Your child may be entitled to Free School Meals if you receive certain benefits. These currently include:
Income Support
Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Universal Credit (with a household income of less than £7,400 a year, after tax and not including benefits)
Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit), with an annual income of less than £16,190
The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 automatically receive free school meals under the Universal Infant Free School Meal scheme. However, if you think you may also be eligible under the above criteria, please still apply – this allows the school to access additional funding (Pupil Premium) to support your child’s education.
To check eligibility or make an application, please visit https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/free-school-meals/?page=3 or contact the school office for support.
