Family Learning: Parent Workshops
Accredited Courses & Qualifications
We want to support both our parents, families and members of our local community in developing opportunities through training and qualifications.
There will be a number of opportunities to gain new skills and experiences, which could lead to employment opportunities in the future.
Please see what is on offer this term:
We want to develop strong links with our families and engage you all in lots of wonderful events in school. We will be offering throughout the year opportunities for families to get involved in a range of different workshops. Workshops during the Autumn term will be aimed at both parent and child, with many opportunities to work side by side.
During the Spring term workshops will become more focused on how, as parents, you can support your child's learning.
Within the Summer term we hope to offer some adult learning opportunities which look to develop and support our parents, developing skills and attributes for pleasure as well as future employment.
Workshops will be provided by school staff in their area of expertise, Lancashire Adult Learning and the NSPCC.
