On behalf of myself and the whole team, I would like to welcome you to Fulwood and Cadley Primary School’s website. The information and guidance throughout the website will provide you with a glimpse into our school community, but should you require any further information, guidance or answers to a burning question please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated team in the school office.

Describing ourselves as a huge family we value the strength of the relationships created in order to ensure the whole school community feels safe and happy. Children are at the heart of the school and we aim to nurture their confidence, resilience and self-belief to ensure that they strive to fulfil their potential.

With a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum children journey through the school with a wide range of opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and understanding across all subject areas. Learning across the curriculum builds each year on previous learning, allowing the children to develop and progress in order to achieve their academic potential. The environment in which learning is explored, secured and deepened takes place both in and out of the classroom. Through both our Forest Schools area and amenities within the wider community, learning is brought to life supporting pupils' natural curiosity to investigate, ask questions and discover.

Providing a range of contexts in which children have the chance to shine is at the heart of what we do. Whether it is on the sporting fields and pitches, the stage or theatre children have the opportunity to experience a diverse range of enrichment and enhancements to the curriculum.

Layers of leadership across the school enable children to develop responsible roles, enriching their learning experience, whilst supporting the provision and opportunities for others. Such opportunities enable our children to become valuable members of our community and add value using their personal areas of strength and talent.

Our school is a hive of activity where children and staff work collaboratively in order to enrich learning experiences, support one another and enable all to achieve and fulfil their potential. The school’s motto was created by both staff and pupils and captures our aim for everyone.
