Meet the Governors
Welcome to our Governing Body. Below is a brief profile of our governors.
Mrs. J Rosebury - Chair of Governors
I am a Community Governor, and I am serving a second term as Chair of Governors at Fulwood and Cadley. I first became a governor when my sons attended Fulwood and Cadley (the eldest of whom is now a primary school teacher himself) and I have always been impressed by the school's commitment to all aspects of childrens' education. I gained my degree in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick where I also achieved a masters degree, before my MPhil from the University of Sunderland. I have recently retired having been involved in education all of my working life. For the last thirty years I was a university lecturer in English Literature at the University of Central Lancashire as well as being involved in Quality Assurance and, at various times, managing different teams and departments. I bring this professional experience to my role as a School Governor, as well as my commitment to ensure all children are provided with the best educational experience.
Mrs. E Hodgkinson - Vice Chair of Governors

I currently run my own building and maintenance business with my husband but have previously worked as a lecturer in environmental law and conservation and as a waste management assessor and internal verifier. I have a keen interest in sustainability and the importance of environmental education for young children and I look forward to working with the Governing Body.

I feel that I will be an effective member of the governing body for years to come.
Dr. H Preston
I completed a Medical Sciences degree at the University of Leeds 1994-1997, before qualifying from University of Manchester Medical School in 2002. Mrs. R Robinson
I am a Parent Governor and have two daughters at school. I currently work as a Supervising Social Worker and completed my MA at UCLan in 2012. I work in partnership with other professionals to promote positive change, providing emotional and practical support to foster carers and the children and young people in our care. Prior to this, I worked in a learning and guidance environment as a Development Officer, planning and implementing various programmes for young people excluded from mainstream education and as a Prince's Trust team leader.
In 2002 I gained a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts (Dance) at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. During my studies I worked, alongside my identical twin sister, as a professional Wingwalker with the AeroSuperBatics Formation Display Team.
I am passionate about the arts and have previously taught dance and performance to children and young people of varying ages and abilities. I have been involved in various youth projects, in which each participant is able to contribute and express their individuality and feel pride in displaying their achievements. I consider dance and drama to be a great way of helping people to develop confidence and interpersonal skills. I have been a member of Preston Musical Comedy Society for a number of years, choreographing and taking part in their performances. I am committed to enabling successful and stable futures for children and young people and hope to make a valuable contribution to the governing team, the children and families it serves and the wider community.
Revd. M Bradford
I am one of the Community Governors for Fulwood and Cadley, and a member of the Teaching and Learning Committee. I am the vicar at St Cuthbert's church on Lytham Road. I really value the connection between the church and the school, and love the 'family feel' of both places. It's always great to welcome the children and staff down to the Church Centre for lessons and celebrations, such as at Christmas. It's also really good to work together for the benefit of our local community, such as through the weekly distribution of food parcels for school families. I'm married, with three children and a cocker spaniel called Alfie. I love to run, walk in the Lake District, and to be by the sea whenever I can.
Miss Chantelle Harrison
Hello, I am a Governor at Fulwood and Cadley Primary School and have been here since November 2020. Having spent my working life within the private and public sectors within a commercial capacity, I bring the skills I use in my professional life to assist in the Governance of the school. I aim to bring external experience and business best practice into the school to help drive continuous improvement, as well as take back new skills and perspectives to my workplace.
