Lunch Menus

Toast

Pupils have the option to purchase morning toast from the kitchen.  This is paid by ParentPay, the online payment system and is done in advance for each half term.  See the letter below.

We are continuing with the lunch system as it is for now until Easter with the pupils picking their lunches daily if they are on school meals.  Please read the letter below and if you would like to change from packed lunches to school meals or vice versa for after Christmas please email Mrs. McGown on amcgown@fulwoodcadley.lancs.sch.uk before Friday 3rd December.

Pre Order School Meals - ***Please note this is currently suspended***

As a school we provide all children with the opportunity to pre order their specific lunch choices.

We think this is a fantastic service which will ensure our children always receive their first choice of meal.

Cooked meals, including a vegetarian option, are prepared daily in our kitchen and children are offered a choice of main courses and desserts. Salads and fruit are always available. Meals are eaten in the dining hall.

The cost of a school meal is £2.35 per day. We are happy to accept payment for the week, month, half term or term but always need payment in advance so at least the week before. All payment is through ParentPay, the online payment system.

Children can have a mixture of packed lunches and school meals during the week but this can only be changed at the end of a term in readiness for the start of a new term.

Packed Lunch

Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch. This should be in a secure named container. A drink should be provided in a non breakable container. Packed lunches are eaten in the main hall. No sweets or fizzy drinks are allowed – instead, we encourage lots of fruit, vegetables and water.

Alternatively check out the following websites for tips and ideas:

Snacks at Playtime

Children in Key Stage One are provided with a piece of fruit at morning break through the National Fruit Scheme and is therefore free of charge.  Children in Key Stage Two may bring in a healthy snack from home to eat at break times.

Fruit or healthy cereal bars are the only snacks that are permitted to be brought from home.

School Water Bottles

We encourage all of our children to drink water throughout the day and this can be brought to school in a clear (named) bottle which can be refilled . Bottles may be purchased from school at £1 each, send money in to class.
